Tanoshikattane...
Met up with Sensee, HuiLuan-san & Matthew-san (Jing sprained her leg..so waited for us at cine) for Nobuyoshi Araki's exhibition at epSITE, Epson Imaging Gallery - "Flowers by Araki". http://www.epson.com.sg/other/othersites/flowers_by_araki.shtml
It was indeed interesting and I left thinking about why this Tensai (genius) actually thought of featuring flowers. I felt that a flower is almost like a human. Flowers possess inherent colors that give them their beauty. They are painted with vibrant colors to mesmerize and capture attention. But when the rain falls, the paint fades and the beauty slips away.
Then we took a slow walk to Cineleisure where we had our dinner at Kobayashi...it is highly recommended not to have dinner there. The japanese food is not authentic and tastes worse then those served at the Arts canteen. Then Ninh-san and Cindy-san joined us for the movie - "Swing Girls". All of us laughed and swayed along with the cast. It's somewhat similar to "Waterboys" and just as kawaii.
Thereafter, we chilled out at Starbucks. I did not expect the outing to turn out so well. We hardly know each other, but bonded by the common interest for the Japanese language. And the other Sensees will sure rather surprised that Okada Sensee's class are sill in contact. It was not until I announced "Moo Jikan desu" that the rest decided to head home. Minasan, kiotsukete!
